Stewardship 2010: Enough!

Our annual stewardship emphasis will be kicked off February 7 and extend through the middle of March. As a part of those few weeks, we will be inviting folks to participate in a small group. Some will run for 4 weeks and some for 3, depending on the day. If you haven’t received a contact about participating in a group, please contact Pastor Wendy.

The groups will use a DVD-based study featuring the work of Adam Hamilton, a leading United Methodist minister and author of the book “Enough: Discovering Joy Through Simplicity and Generosity.” We hope this will build some community and give us a chance to share more about our joys and our struggles with the role of money in our lives.

Fair Trade Coffee, Tea and Chocolate

New Hope will begin making fair trade orders again. Fair Trade guarantees a minimum fair price for small coffee farmers in South America, Africa, and Asia so that they can achieve a decent living wage and better standard of living. Orders will be sent in monthly by the 15th. Please see page 7 of the February New Hope Messenger for an order form.
