1. Pray. We believe that prayer works, and often it works by changing the person praying. 2. Learn how to forgive. Forgiveness is the only way to disrupt the cycle of violence that is prevalent in our world. 3. Write Congress. Contrary to popular opinion, our representatives in Washington want to know what you think, and can often be influenced by what they hear. 4. Tell your friends. Don’t keep your opinions to yourself. Your view is important, and can influence others. 5. Vote with your dollars. Don’t want a store in your neighborhood? Don’t shop there! 6. Vote. Ask Floridians if a few votes can make a difference. 7. Join a church. Become part of a community that can nurture your faith, wrestle with your questions, and work with you on issues. 8.
